1. Is the SKYROKU potty seat really more stable than cheaper options?

Yes — and we prove it.

Most low-cost potty seats have narrow bases and smooth bottoms. SKYROKU uses a wider base + four non-slip silicone grips + a lower center of gravity. The seat stays firmly in place even when your toddler climbs on or shifts weight aggressively.

We’ve seen parents test it by letting their child stand and jump on it. No tipping. No sliding.

2. How long does a SKYROKU seat actually last?

10+ years of regular use.

We design SKYROKU to survive multiple children or extended use with one child. The high-density, BPA-free polypropylene resists cracking, warping, and staining. Many customers tell us they bought one for their first child and are still using it for their third.

3. What age range is this potty seat for?

Typically 18 months to 5 years.

Most children start showing potty training readiness between 18 and 24 months. SKYROKU fits toddlers up to approximately 5 years old (or up to 60 lbs / 27 kg). Once your child consistently uses the regular toilet without assistance, you may no longer need the seat.

4. Is SKYROKU really Montessori-aligned? How?

A Montessori approach to potty training emphasizes child-led independence, autonomy, and self-correction. SKYROKU supports this by:

  • Being low enough for toddlers to climb onto by themselves
  • Including easy-grip handles that give small hands balance control
  • Avoiding complicated straps or buckles that require adult help

The child learns to position themselves, balance, and complete the process — with minimal adult intervention.

5. How do I clean the SKYROKU potty seat?

Very easily.

The seat is fully waterproof and smooth-surfaced (no crevices where bacteria hide). You can:

  • Wipe down with disinfectant wipes after each use
  • Rinse under warm running water for deeper cleaning
  • Occasionally wash with mild soap and water

Avoid abrasive scrubbers or bleach-based cleaners, which may dull the surface over many years.

6. Will this seat fit any toilet?

Yes — it’s designed for standard U.S. toilets.

SKYROKU fits most round and elongated toilet bowls. However, we recommend measuring your toilet before purchasing:

  • Minimum bowl length (front to back): 14 inches (35.5 cm)
  • Maximum bowl length: 17 inches (43 cm)

If you have a non-standard toilet (e.g., square, very small, or European-style), please contact us with a photo — we’ll confirm fit for you.

7. Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — a 1-year satisfaction warranty.

If your SKYROKU seat shows manufacturing defects within 12 months of purchase, we’ll replace it at no cost. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (e.g., surface scratches from years of use) or damage from misuse.

8. Can I buy replacement parts (e.g., silicone grips)?

Yes, replacement silicone grip pads are available separately.

9. How is SKYROKU different from a $10 potty seat on Amazon?

Yes — 30-day returns.

If your child refuses to use the SKYROKU seat within 30 days of delivery, you may return it for a full refund (minus return shipping). We only ask that the seat be in re-sellable condition.
